Mike Tucker, PT, CSCS, Cert. DN
Mike is a Hartselle native and a 1991 graduate of Hartselle High School. He received his PT degree from the University of South Alabama and has 20+ years of experience as a physical therapist in a variety of clinical settings. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and has treated prep, college, and professional athletes throughout his career specializing in ACL injury prevention and treatment, golf-related injuries, throwing athletes, pre- and post-operative rehab, and a variety of other orthopedic diagnoses. In addition, Mike is a Certified BIG Clinician through LSVT Global in the treatment of Parkinson’s patients and treats a variety of neurological conditions including MS, strokes, and balance disorders. His vast knowledge and experience in the area of industrial medicine has also allowed him to assist thousands of injured workers return to their previous jobs following workplace injuries. He has close relationships with many of our area case managers and is trained in the development / implementation of work hardening / conditioning programs, Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs), pre-work screens, and ergonomic assessments.
Mike has worked with our area physicians and surgeons for over 15 years as well as some of the most renowned orthopedic surgeons in the country throughout his career. By continuously staying abreast on the latest and most successful surgical and manual techniques, he provides high quality of care in an evidenced-based practice setting for all ages.
