What can I expect at my first appointment?
During your first appointment, you will meet with your physical therapist for a complete and comprehensive evaluation. Your therapist will explain your condition and, with your input, determine the most appropriate course of treatment. If time permits, an abbreviated treatment session will also begin on this 1st day and we’ll talk about incorporating a home exercise program to supplement your visits. The appointment should take about 60-90 minutes from the time of your arrival.
How early should I arrive?
Please arrive 15 minutes early to fill out necessary paperwork and allow us time to collect your insurance information. To speed this process up, you can also download the forms, complete them at home, and bring them with you. Our welcoming front office staff will be happy to help you and answer any insurance, scheduling, or billing questions along the way.
What should I wear?
Please wear comfortable clothes that allow for movement. For lower extremity and spine diagnoses, shorts or loose fitting pants are appropriate. For upper extremity and neck diagnoses, a tank top or sports bra is preferred.
